Zaheer Akhtar Appointed Coordinator for Charminar Constituency


Mahabubnagar (Same Day): The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has appointed Zaheer Akhtar, an official spokesperson of the party, as the coordinator for the Charminar Assembly constituency in Hyderabad. The decision was formally announced by PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud.

Party sources said the appointment was made in view of Mr. Akhtar’s organisational experience and his role in strengthening party structures at the grassroots level. He is expected to focus on improving coordination among cadre, ensuring effective implementation of party programmes, and enhancing outreach in the constituency.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with PCC president Mr. Goud, congratulated Mr. Akhtar on his appointment. They expressed confidence that he would contribute to consolidating the party’s presence in the constituency.

Responding to the development, Mr. Akhtar thanked the party leadership for reposing faith in him and said he would work with commitment to strengthen the organisation and deliver results on the ground.
