Ranga Reddy District Jagruti Holds Extended Meeting; Kavitha’s Statewide Jana Yatra from October 25: Kappati Panduranga Reddy

Rangareddy (Same Day):
The Telangana Jagruti Ranga Reddy district unit held a large-scale extended meeting on Friday at the Jagruti Bhavan under the leadership of district president Kappati Panduranga Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that Telangana Jagruti founder-president Kalvakuntla Kavitha will embark on a statewide “Jana Yatra” from October 25, beginning in Nizamabad district, to connect with people across all sections of society.

District tour supervisors and state leaders Kola Srinivas, Naresh, and Archana Sempati attended the meeting, which focused on preparations to ensure the success of the upcoming public outreach tour.

Addressing the gathering, leaders said that although Telangana was formed geographically, Adivasi and Girijan communities continue to face long-standing issues, and the Central and State governments have failed to implement constitutional safeguards and special provisions meant for them.

They further stated that the Jagruti movement, under Kavitha’s leadership, would fight for 42 per cent reservation for the Backward Classes based on population ratio, and for the implementation of the six guarantees promised by the Congress government before the elections.

The leaders emphasised that the Jana Yatra will focus on addressing the challenges faced by unemployed youth, farmers, labourers, women, and Telangana movement activists whose aspirations remain unfulfilled.

The meeting was attended by district women’s wing president Bandari Lavanya, state leaders Mustafa, A. Ramakoti, Ramu Yadav, Naveen Goud, B. Sandeep, Maheshwaram constituency in-charge Andugula Satyanarayana, Vundela Baburao, S. Ramesh, Ved Bhavani, Abhishek Reddy, Salva Chari, Balaji Uday, Ravi Naik, T. Swapna, P. Naresh, Bhargav Yadav, Rajkumar, Sharath Kumar, and others.
