Traffic curbs in Hyderabad for Milad-un-Nabi processions on September 14


Hyderabad (Same Day):
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions in connection with the Milad-un-Nabi Peace Procession scheduled to be taken out on September 14, 2025, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

To mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.), several processions will be organised across the city. The major ones include routes from Falaknuma to Volta Hotel via Charminar, Yahiya Pasha Dargah to Volta Hotel and back, Mecca Masjid to Haj House, Mecca Masjid to Volta Hotel, and Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla.

Traffic diversions will be imposed along important junctions such as Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta, Himmatpura Junction, Charminar, Gulzar House, Nayapool, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, Alijah Kotla, Afzalgunj, MJ Market Junction, Nampally T Junction, Haj House and surrounding areas.

Motorists have been advised to avoid these routes during the procession timings and make use of alternative roads to prevent congestion.

“The cooperation of citizens is essential for smooth traffic management during the religious processions,” said D. Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad.
