Kavitha’s Suspension Reflects KCR’s Commitment to Public Welfare: Sabitha Indra Reddy
Hyderabad (Same Day): Reacting to the suspension of BRS MLC K. Kavitha, former minister and Maheshwaram BRS MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the decision underscores party president K. Chandrashekar Rao’s (KCR) unwavering commitment to the welfare of Telangana’s people and the integrity of the party.
Speaking to reporters, Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy stated that Ms. Kavitha was suspended from the party for acting in a manner detrimental to the organisation and for allegedly aligning with the Congress party. “Such actions cannot be tolerated within a disciplined party like the BRS,” she said.
Welcoming the disciplinary action, she said that the decision was “necessary and timely” to protect the party’s ideals and restore public trust. “KCR has once again shown that for him, the interests of the people of Telangana and the discipline of the party come first,” she remarked.
She added that decisions like these are essential to reinforce the people’s faith in the BRS and its leadership, especially at a time when political accountability is being closely scrutinised.
The BRS suspended Ms. Kavitha, daughter of party chief KCR, following allegations of anti-party activities, amid growing political tensions in the state she said.
