Urdu Academy to Honour Best Urdu Teachers on Tomorrow
Hyderabad (Same Day): The Telangana Urdu Academy will host the Best Urdu Teacher Award ceremony on August 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Basheer Bagh, King Koti Road, Hyderabad. The event is aimed at recognising exemplary contributions to Urdu education across the state.
Mr. Adluri Laxman Kumar, Hon’ble Minister for Minorities, Scheduled Castes Development, Tribal Welfare, Minority Welfare, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Transgender Persons, Government of Telangana, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and distribute the awards and mementoes.
Among the Guests of Honour are Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Finance, Planning & Energy, Government of Telangana, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Coal & Mines, Government of India, and Mr. Mohd. Ali Shabbir, Advisor to the Government of Telangana on SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Welfare.
Janab Taher Bin Hamdan, President of the Telangana Urdu Academy, will preside over the event. The Academy has extended invitations to representatives from both print and electronic media and requested their presence for coverage of the programme. The awards are part of the Academy’s continued efforts to promote Urdu language and recognise the efforts of educators who have significantly contributed to its preservation and growth.
