Sajjad Ali assumes charge as Director, Telangana Urdu Academy

Hyderabad (Same Day): Sajjad Ali, Assistant Secretary to the Government of Telangana, who is presently holding the look-after charge of Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee, has been given additional charge as Director of the Telangana Urdu Academy.

Mr. Sajjad Ali assumed charge from U. Krishna, Assistant Secretary, Urdu Academy, at a brief ceremony held at the Academy’s office on Wednesday evening. Senior officials from both the Urdu Academy and the Haj Committee were present on the occasion.

Following the handover, Mr. Sajjad Ali will now serve as both Director and Secretary of the Academy. The appointment is being seen as a move to ensure administrative continuity and strengthen the functioning of the state’s Urdu language and cultural promotion initiatives.
