TG Urdu Academy President Inspects Ongoing Urdu Bhavan Construction in Warangal


Warangal (Same Day): President of the Telangana Urdu Academy, Taher Bin Hamdan, on Wednesday, visited the site of the under-construction Urdu Bhavan cum Shadi Khana at L.B. Nagar in Warangal. He was accompanied by a delegation of Academy officials, including Assistant Director V. Krishna, Superintendents Shaik Ismail and P. Athavulla Khan, and Junior Assistant Rajjab Ali. Hamdan was received by local public representatives and members of the Urdu-speaking community. He reviewed the progress of the construction work and held discussions with key officials, including District Minorities Welfare Officer Dr. T. Ramesh, Corporator Suresh Joshi, Urdu Officer Nikhat Sultana, KUDA Assistant Engineer A. Bharat, Superintendent Vijaypal Reddy, Tahsildar Janab Iqbal, Urdu poet Iqbal Dard, and Warangal Haj Committee President Sarvar Mohiuddin Ghazi.

The visit was part of the Academy’s broader outreach to monitor ongoing infrastructure projects intended to promote Urdu language and cultural activities across the State.

Earlier, on Tuesday evening, the delegation had also visited the Urdu Ghar cum Shadi Khana in Nekonda, where they interacted with local stakeholders and reviewed the existing facilities.
