Governor Bandaru Dattatreya Presents Autobiography in Hyderabad
Hyderabad (Same Day): Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday presented copies of his autobiography "Prajala Kathe Naa Aatmakatha" to prominent public figures at a ceremony held in Hyderabad. The event was attended by former Union Minister Kavuri Samba Siva Rao, CPI National Leader K. Narayana, senior journalist K. Ramachandra Murthy, and noted journalist and intellectual Mallepalli Laxmaiah, who were among the first to receive the book. The autobiography, written in Telugu, chronicles Dattatreya’s political journey spanned several decades, from his early days as an RSS pracharak to his long association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and his tenure as a Union Minister and Governor. Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya said the book is not only a personal account but also a reflection of the people’s struggles and aspirations over the years. “This is the story of the common man. I have merely been a representative voice,” he said.
The dignitaries lauded Dattatreya’s decades of public service and his commitment to social justice and political integrity. CPI leader K. Narayana said the book offers a rare glimpse into the personal convictions and political challenges faced by leaders in public life. Journalist Mallepalli Laxmaiah described it as “an honest and heartfelt narrative that bridges ideological divides.”
The autobiography is expected to be of interest to political observers, historians, and readers keen on understanding the evolution of post-Independence Indian politics through the lens of a grassroots leader.
