Minister Konda Surekha unveils TGO Women’s Wing Calendar-2026


Hyderabad (Same Day): Forest, Environment and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha unveiled the ‘Calendar–2026’ prepared by the Women’s Wing of the Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association (TGO).

On the occasion, TGO representatives brought several key issues concerning employees to the Minister’s attention. Responding positively, Ms. Surekha assured them that discussions would be held soon on the matters raised.

The Women’s Wing invited the Minister to attend the International Women’s Day inaugural programme scheduled for March 6, 2026. Ms. Surekha expressed her willingness to participate in the event. She reiterated that the government remained committed to addressing employees’ concerns.

TGO central president Eluri Srinivas Rao, State general secretary B. Shyam, Women’s Wing Chairperson Dr. Deepa Reddy, Siddipet district secretary Jayashree, and others were present.

Adding to the woes, patients are also being asked to bring their own empty bottles to collect traditional halwa-based medicines—a practice described as both inconvenient and degrading by social activists and patient families. Maulana Azad National Urdu University Invites Applications for ODL Programmes for 2025-26

Hyderabad (Same Day): Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), has invited online applications for admission to its array of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes for the academic year 2025–2026. The academic session is scheduled to commence from July–August 2025.
