Barkaat E Ramzan Expo inaugurated in Chanchalguda by Munawar Khan Nagad

Hyderabad (Same Day):
Marking the holy month of Ramzan, the Anjuman-e-Mehdavia organised the “Barkaat E Ramzan Expo” at Chanchalguda on Sunday. The event was formally inaugurated by Anjuman president Munawar Khan Nagad.

Former Anjuman president and Peer-o-Murshid Hazrat Mehmood Shehabuddin attended the programme as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Nagad said the expo was aimed at providing a dedicated platform for small traders, particularly those from economically weaker and middle-income sections, enabling them to conduct business in an organised environment. He observed that while expos are commonly associated with entertainment activities, the organisers chose to commence the programme with Quran recitation in keeping with the spirit of Ramzan.

He added that residents of the surrounding localities, especially women, could avail themselves of essential goods and garments at comparatively lower prices without having to visit crowded commercial centres.

Among those present were Anjuman general secretary Syed Ali Ashraf, secretary M.D. Dawood Ali Khan, treasurer Abdul Hai Munawar, and members of the Mehdavia community. An Iftar gathering was organised following the inauguration.
