Syed Mahmood Peer honoured for service to minorities by Collector

Syed Mahmood Peer, Chairman of the All India Muslim Minorities Council, was awarded a commendation certificate on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day in recognition of his contribution towards the welfare of minority communities.

The certificate was presented by the Kurnool District Collector, the Joint Collector and the Superintendent of Police at the district-level Republic Day celebrations. The honour acknowledged Mr. Peer’s sustained efforts in promoting social harmony, supporting minority rights and working closely with the administration on issues concerning community welfare.

Speaking after receiving the honour, Mr. Peer thanked the district authorities for the recognition and said the award would motivate him to further strengthen initiatives aimed at inclusive development and social justice. He reiterated his commitment to upholding constitutional values and fostering communal harmony.

The Republic Day programme also featured cultural events and the presentation of commendations to several individuals and organisations for their exemplary public service.
