Kavitha reassures child after successful heart surgery


Hyderabad (Same Day): Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Tuesday met and reassured a child from Isnapur village in the Patancheru constituency of Sangareddy district who recently underwent heart surgery with her intervention.

The child, Shivanand, son of Ektapur Pandit and Parvathamma, had been suffering from a cardiac ailment. After his parents approached Ms. Kavitha seeking help for the surgery, she took the initiative to facilitate his treatment at NIMS Hospital, where the operation was successfully performed on December 17, 2025.

Following his recovery, Shivanand, accompanied by his parents, visited the Telangana Jagruthi office at Banjara Hills and met Ms. Kavitha. During the interaction, she enquired about his health, encouraged him to remain confident and advised him to focus on his studies once he fully recovers.

Ms. Kavitha assured the family of continued support and said she would stand by them whenever needed. The child’s parents expressed gratitude for her timely intervention, which they said played a crucial role in ensuring proper medical care for their son.
