Haj 2026 orientation camp held in Nizamabad

The first orientation and training camp for Haj-2026 pilgrims was organised in Nizamabad district on Monday, bringing together aspiring pilgrims from Nizamabad, Kamareddy and surrounding areas.

The camp was attended by Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha, Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee, who addressed the gathering and briefed pilgrims on the religious rituals, administrative procedures and logistical arrangements for Haj-2026. He emphasised the importance of proper preparation, discipline and adherence to guidelines to ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage.

Shabbir Ali, Adviser to the Telangana Government for SC, ST, BC and Minorities Welfare, highlighted the State government’s commitment to facilitating Haj pilgrims through systematic training, transparent processes and support services.

Mohammed Ehsanuddin, President of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Telangana and Member of the Telangana Haj Committee, along with Hafiz Peer Khaleeq Ahmed, General Secretary of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Telangana, explained various aspects of Haj rituals and urged pilgrims to actively participate in training sessions.

Other dignitaries present included Maulana Ilyas Ahmed Qasmi, Member of the Telangana Haj Committee, Maulana Layeeq Qasmi, and Irfan Shareef, Assistant Executive Officer of the Telangana Haj Committee. They collectively guided pilgrims on health precautions, travel formalities and conduct during the pilgrimage.

The orientation camp, held on December 30, witnessed enthusiastic participation from Haj aspirants, who welcomed the initiative as a vital step in preparing them for Haj-2026.
