TUWJ State President Visits Ailing Journalist at Shamshabad Hospital

Rangareddy (Same Day):
TUWJ State President Virahat Ali on Sunday visited V6 reporter Mancherla Nursing Rao, who is undergoing treatment following a heart attack at LIMS Multi-Speciality Hospital in Shamshabad.

Virahat Ali was accompanied by State Secretary Komaplli Srikanth Reddy, District President MD Saleem Pasha, Vice-President A. Bhimaiah, District Electronic Media Secretary Srinivas, and Rajendranagar Constituency President Mekala Damodar Reddy.

The TUWJ chief interacted with Nursing Rao and enquired about his health condition from the attending doctors. He wished the journalist a speedy recovery and assured his family members — including his wife and brother — that the union would extend all necessary support.

Expressing concern over the hardships faced by journalists, Virahat Ali criticised the delay by the State government in issuing health cards, stating that many mediapersons were suffering due to lack of timely medical support. He reiterated that the union will hold the “Chalo Hyderabad” protest on December 3 demanding the issuance of health cards, accreditations, and house sites for journalists.

This was Virahat Ali’s first visit to the Rajendranagar constituency after assuming charge as State President, where local journalists extended a warm welcome. Senior journalists Manohar, Mahmood Ali Khan, Mahender, Madhu, Mustafa, and several others were present during the visit.
