Sewing Machines Distributed to Minority Women in Alampur Under Indiramma Scheme


Gadwal District, Alampur (Same Day):
A Sewing Machine distribution programme was organised on Tuesday in Alampur of Gadwal Constituency as part of the “Indiramma Minority Mahila Shakti – Revanth Anna Bharosa” scheme aimed at empowering minority women through livelihood support.

Mohd Obedulla Kothwal, Chairman, Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC), participated in the programme along with Sampath Kumar, Incharge of Alampur Constituency, Syed Azmath Ullah Hussaini, Chairman, Telangana Waqf Board (TGWB), the MLA of Alampur, and several local public representatives.

The dignitaries distributed sewing machines to the beneficiaries and formally handed over allotment orders under the economic empowerment initiative. Speaking on the occasion, officials highlighted that the scheme reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing self-employment avenues for minority women and enabling sustainable income generation at the household level.

Local leaders appreciated the efforts of the State government in rolling out welfare schemes that directly address economic needs and promote women’s empowerment across rural areas. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, stating that the machines would significantly support their livelihoods.

The event concluded with assurances of continued developmental activities and further support for women’s self-employment programmes in the constituency.
