Amaravati (Same Day):
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday extended warm greetings to 15-year-old Pangi Karuna Kumari, who played a significant role in India’s remarkable victory in the final of the Blind Women’s T20 World Cup.

In a message shared shortly after learning of her achievement, the Chief Minister lauded the young cricketer’s determination and exceptional performance. “Heartfelt congratulations to her for her tremendous effort. This news has indeed made my day,” he said.

Karuna Kumari, a native of Visakhapatnam district, is a student of the Blind Girls Residential School in Visakhapatnam, a detail that the Chief Minister said made the accomplishment even more special. He praised the school’s contribution in nurturing talent and empowering visually impaired students to excel on national and international platforms.

Mr. Naidu further assured that the State government would extend full support to the budding cricketer in all her future endeavours. “May all her dreams come true,” he added, expressing hope that her success would inspire many more young girls in the State.

The Indian team’s triumph has drawn widespread applause across the country, with Karuna Kumari’s contribution emerging as a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh.
