SFI Calls for Telangana Bandh on October 30

Hyderabad (Same Day):
The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has called for a Telangana bandh on October 30, demanding the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement and scholarship amounts.

In a statement issued by the SFI State Committee, the organisation announced that universities, engineering, degree, and postgraduate colleges across the State will remain closed as part of the bandh. The SFI urged the government to ensure that students receive their academic certificates without being subjected to fee-related conditions.

The federation also demanded stringent action against private educational institutions that are withholding certificates and insisting on fee payments despite pending government dues.

SFI leaders said the agitation would continue until the State government addresses the long-pending issues faced by students.
