‘Jagruti Janam Baata’ Marks Grand Success: Kappati Panduranga Reddy
Hyderabad (Same Day): The ongoing ‘Jagruti Janam Baata’ programme led by Telangana Jagruti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has achieved tremendous success, said Kappati Panduranga Reddy, president of Ranga Reddy district Jagruti and former chairman of the Ranga Reddy District Library Corporation.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, Mr. Panduranga Reddy noted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had directed Irrigation Department officials to conduct a detailed review and submit a report on the progress of ongoing irrigation projects across the State. He commended Ms. Kavitha for personally visiting submerged villages and interacting with affected residents to understand their issues firsthand. “During her visits to Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar districts, Kavitha demanded the speedy completion of irrigation projects and immediate implementation of rehabilitation schemes for displaced families,” he said.
According to Mr. Panduranga Reddy, the State Government has responded positively to these demands. He also criticised opposition parties for limiting themselves to press conferences and social media campaigns over the past two years instead of engaging directly with the people.
“While others are confined to rhetoric, Kavitha has been reaching out to the masses on critical issues such as water, employment, funds, martyrs’ welfare, and social justice. Her proactive outreach has clearly unsettled the opposition,” Mr. Panduranga Reddy remarked.
