Hyderabad (Same Day): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Secretary and NRI Cell Convenor Dr. Mohammed Aijaz-uz-Zaman has extended his heartfelt congratulations to former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin on being sworn in as a Minister in the Telangana Cabinet.

In a statement issued on Friday, Dr. Aijaz-uz-Zaman lauded Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for providing representation to minorities in the State Cabinet. He expressed confidence that Azharuddin, known for his dedication and commitment, would serve the people of Telangana with sincerity and integrity.

“The decision of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to include a distinguished personality like Azharuddin reflects the Congress government’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity,” Dr. Aijaz-uz-Zaman said.

He added that under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, the Congress government has been ensuring equitable development and implementing welfare programmes that benefit all sections of society.

Dr. Aijaz-uz-Zaman further alleged that opposition parties, unable to digest the success and popularity of the Congress government, were trying to mislead the public with baseless criticism.

“The induction of Mohammed Azharuddin into the Cabinet is a strong message that the Congress government stands for empowerment and fair representation of minorities,” he asserted.
