Aditha Swapna Appointed National Observer for Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress


New Delhi (Same Day): The All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) has appointed Ms. B. Aditha Swapna as the National Observer for Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress, according to an announcement made by AIMC President Ms. Alka Lamba on Tuesday.

Ms. Aditha Swapna, who has previously served as National Observer for Bihar, Puducherry, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, is known for her organizational skills and grassroots-level leadership initiatives. During her earlier tenure, she played a key role in expanding the Mahila Congress network and enhancing women’s political participation in the regions under her charge.

Recognizing her contributions and effective leadership, the AIMC has now entrusted her with the additional responsibility of overseeing the party’s activities in Andhra Pradesh.

Expressing gratitude for her appointment, Ms. Aditha Swapna said, “I sincerely thank Ms. Alka Lamba, National President of All India Mahila Congress, for reposing faith in me and entrusting this new responsibility. Under her leadership, I will work to strengthen the Mahila Congress in Andhra Pradesh and further reinforce the vision and leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi.”

She added that her focus would be on building the organization’s presence at the mandal and booth levels across the state, ensuring that women’s voices are represented in every corner of Andhra Pradesh.

The All India Mahila Congress has been actively working to empower women, strengthen its grassroots framework, and promote gender equality in politics. Ms. Aditha Swapna’s appointment is viewed as a significant move toward consolidating the Mahila Congress base in southern India and enhancing women’s leadership within the Congress party.
