₹1 Crore Ex-Gratia Announced for Constable Pramod’s Family: CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday announced an ex-gratia of ₹1 crore to the family of Constable Pramod, who was killed in Nizamabad.

Speaking at the Police Martyrs’ Commemoration Day event held in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister expressed deep condolences and assured all possible support to the bereaved family. He announced that one family member would be provided a government job and a 300-square-yard residential plot.

In addition to the ₹1 crore compensation, the Chief Minister said ₹16 lakh would be provided from the Police Security Welfare Fund and ₹8 lakh from the Police Welfare Fund.

Reiterating his government’s commitment to the welfare of police personnel, Mr. Reddy said the State would continue to prioritize the safety, well-being, and honour of those who serve in the police force.
