Syed Shah Aijaz-Ul-Haq Quadri passes away


Hyderabad (Same Day): Syed Shah Aijaz-Ul-Haq Quadri, son of former Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy chairman Syed Shah Noor-Ul-Haq Quadri, passed away on Wednesday following a sudden cardiac arrest at his residence, Noor Mahal Complex, Dewan Devdi, Hyderabad.

He belonged to the well-known Quadri family of Hyderabad and was the brother of Syed Shah Hafeez-Ul-Haq Quadri. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

The funeral prayer (namaz-e-janaza) will be held on Friday, September 5, at 1:15 p.m. at Jamia Masjid, Dewan Devdi, followed by the burial at Dargah Maroof Ali Shah Sahab Qibla (RA), Osmanpura, near Muslim Maternity Hospital.

Family members have requested friends and well-wishers to remember him in their prayers.

Adding to the woes, patients are also being asked to bring their own empty bottles to collect traditional halwa-based medicines—a practice described as both inconvenient and degrading by social activists and patient families. Hyderabad (Same Day): Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), has invited online applications for admission to its array of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes for the academic year 2025–2026.
