Retired Police Officer Ahmed Nawaz Khan Passes Away


Hyderabad (Same Day):
Mr. Ahmed Nawaz Khan, retired Circle Inspector of Police Intelligence and noted Urdu shorthand reporter, passed away on Wednesday at his residence in Lal Bagh, Amberpet. He was the son of the late Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khan.

Mr. Khan had also served as President of the Managing Committee of Masjid Taj Ibrahim, Tirumala Nagar, Amberpet. Known for his expertise in departmental “Law” classes for Sub-Inspectors, he was frequently invited by the government to deliver lectures in Anantapur, Karimnagar, Tirupati and other centres. Within the Police Department, he was held in high esteem for his contributions to training and education.

The funeral prayer will be held on Wednesday after Asr at Masjid Qadri Bagh, Amberpet, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. He is survived by his wife, three sons — Ahmed Riyaz Khan Saleem, Ahmed Fayyaz Khan Naeem, and Ahmed Ejaz Khan Kareem — and a daughter.

The Fateha ceremony (third-day prayers) has been scheduled for Friday, September 26, after Asr at Masjid Taj Ibrahim, Tirumala Nagar, Amberpet.vFor further details, family members may be contacted at 9848970005 or 817964352.
