Poster campaign launched in Hyderabad to mark World Cleanup Day


Hyderabad (Same Day):
A poster campaign to raise awareness on environmental cleanliness and sustainable practices was launched in Hyderabad district on Monday to mark World Cleanup Day.

The campaign poster was unveiled at the office of the District Educational Officer (DEO), Hyderabad, Smt. R. Rohini, who underscored the need for collective responsibility in keeping surroundings clean and nurturing a healthier environment for future generations.

The initiative was led by Sri C. Dharmender Rao, District Science Officer and Environment Education Brand Ambassador for Hyderabad District, who noted that World Cleanup Day had evolved into a global citizens’ movement uniting millions across the world to combat waste and promote environmental stewardship.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Rohini appreciated the role of schools, teachers, and students in spreading awareness on environmental concerns. She urged the community to actively participate in cleanliness drives and eco-friendly activities.

The Hyderabad district education community reaffirmed its commitment to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier future through this initiative.
