Obedience is a path to learning, says Dawn Schools Chairman

Hyderabad (Same Day):
“Obedience is not mere submission, but a form of learning that shapes discipline and character,” observed Fazl Ur Rahman Khurram, Chairman of Dawn Group of Schools, while addressing Teacher’s Day celebrations at Dawn High School, Malakpet on Tuesday.

Urging students to respect their teachers and avoid disobedience, he cautioned against overdependence. “Do not be dependent or turn into a parasite. Develop your personality if you wish to build a successful career,” he remarked.

Mr. Khurram also reminded students of their primary goal—academic excellence. He advised them to remain focused on their subjects, with particular attention to mathematics, describing it as “the foundation for logical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for success.”

The celebrations also underscored the contribution of teachers in nurturing values alongside academic excellence, with staff and students taking part in cultural and felicitation programmes.
