Nizam College calls for part-time lecturer applications


Hyderabad (Same Day): Nizam College, a constituent institution of Osmania University reaccredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC, has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in multiple departments.

The disciplines include English, Sanskrit, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics, Genetics, Bio-technology, Business Management, Political Science, Chemistry (Organic/Physical & Pharmaco-Informatics), Mathematics, and Statistics.

Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree such as M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., MCA, MBA or an equivalent qualification, with at least 55% marks. Candidates possessing NET, SLET, M.Phil. or Ph.D. qualifications, along with prior teaching experience, will be given preference.

The selection process will be conducted as per Osmania University’s rules and regulations. Interested candidates have been asked to send their curriculum vitae with complete details to the Principal, Nizam College, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, on or before September 11, 2025.

Adding to the woes, patients are also being asked to bring their own empty bottles to collect traditional halwa-based medicines—a practice described as both inconvenient and degrading by social activists and patient families.
