NIMS achieves milestone in robotic surgeries


Hyderabad (Same Day): The prestigious Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) has achieved a significant milestone in advanced healthcare by successfully performing 650 robotic surgeries. The accomplishment underscores the institute’s growing reputation for providing state-of-the-art medical services on par with private and corporate hospitals.

Of the total procedures, as many as 370 were related to urology, highlighting the institute’s expertise in the specialty. To strengthen its capabilities, NIMS has trained 20 doctors exclusively in robotic surgical techniques.

The achievement has drawn appreciation from both the medical fraternity and patients, with many lauding NIMS for making advanced healthcare accessible in the public sector.
