Bandaru Dattatraya attends Deendayal Upadhyay Jayanthi celebrations

Hyderabad (Same Day):
Former Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya attended the 109th Jayanthi celebrations of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay organised by the Ekalavya Foundation at its premises in Chikkadpally on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dattatraya recalled the contributions of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to Indian politics and society, noting that his philosophy of Antyodaya — the upliftment of the most marginalised — continues to hold relevance. He urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from Deendayalji’s vision of integral humanism and service-oriented leadership.

Ekalavya Foundation Chairman Shri Venkat Rao and Founder Shri P. Venugopal Reddy also spoke on the occasion, emphasising the need to promote values of social harmony and inclusive development. Uppala Lakshman, former member of the Press Council of India, along with other dignitaries, participated and paid rich tributes to the late leader.

The programme concluded with a pledge to carry forward the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay through community service and educational initiatives.
