12th Telangana State Kickboxing Championship to be held on September 20-21

Hyderabad (Same Day): The 12th Telangana State Kickboxing Championship – 2025-26 will be held in Hyderabad on September 20 and 21, the organisers announced on Thursday.

The two-day event, which will feature cadet, junior and senior categories for both men and women, is being organised by the Kickboxing Association of Telangana (KAT) at Legend MMA Hall, Beside Pista House Mandi, Upstair BATA Showroom, Owaisi Hospital X Road, Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad.

According to Syed Akramulla Hussaini, General Secretary of KAT and Joint Secretary of WAKO India, the championship will serve as the official State-level competition for the year 2025-26. “We look forward to welcoming teams from across Telangana and ensuring a competitive and memorable event,” he said.

The winners of the championship are expected to gain eligibility for upcoming national-level tournaments, providing a pathway for athletes to represent Telangana in the wider kickboxing circuit.
