Revanth Reddy Releases Shabbir Ali’s Book on 45 Year Journey with Congress

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy released the book “Legacy & Loyalty – 45 Years With Congress Party”, authored by Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir, at a function held at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad.

The event was attended by a host of senior Congress leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, and TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud.

Cabinet Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Jupally Krishna Rao, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Adluri Laxman Kumar, Smt Seetakka, Konda Surekha, G. Vivek Venkatswamy, and Kadiyam Srihari were among those present. Former Ministers and senior leaders K. Jana Reddy, Dr. J. Geetha Reddy, Dr. K. Keshava Rao, Balram Naik, and Anjan Kumar Yadav also attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Revanth Reddy lauded Mr. Shabbir Ali’s long-standing service to the Congress Party, describing him as a committed leader who played a vital role during key phases of the party’s journey in united Andhra Pradesh and later in Telangana. He said the book would serve as a valuable record of political history and the evolution of the Congress in the State.

Mr. Shabbir Ali, who has held several important portfolios in the past, including that of Minority Welfare Minister, shared anecdotes from his political career spanning over four decades. He said the book was both a personal reflection and a tribute to the party that shaped his public life.

The book traces Mr. Shabbir Ali’s association with the Congress Party since the late 1970s, detailing his political milestones, electoral battles, and contributions to policy and governance.
