Calligraphy Workshop to Be Held in Dawn High School on August 24




Hyderabad (Same Day):
A calligraphy workshop is scheduled to be held on August 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dawn High School, Malakpet, Hyderabad. The event is jointly organised by Dawn High School and the Siasat Urdu daily.

The session will be presided over by Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat and Member of the Legislative Council (MLC). The workshop aims to introduce participants to the rich tradition and contemporary relevance of calligraphy.

Mr. Ghouse Arslan, a noted calligraphy expert, will deliver an in-depth presentation on the history, significance, and development of calligraphy from its origins to the modern day. He will also conduct a live demonstration during the session. Following the workshop, regular training classes in calligraphy will commence at the same venue.

Mr. Fazalur Rahman Khurram, Chairman of Dawn High School, has extended an invitation to students, art enthusiasts, and members of the public irrespective of age to attend and benefit from this initiative.
