TGOA Delegation Meets Revenue Minister, Pushes for Key Approvals


Hyderabad (Same Day):
A delegation of the Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association (TGOA), led by its President Eluri Sreenivasa Rao, met with the Minister for Revenue, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, to discuss long-pending issues concerning the Survey and Land Records Department.

One of the key issues taken up was the re-organisation file of the Survey & Land Records Department, which the Minister has cleared at his level and forwarded to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) for further action. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) file related to promotions from Assistant Director (AD) to Deputy Director (DD) cadre was also approved.

The delegation held discussions with senior IAS officers, including Sheshadri, Principal Secretary to CMO, Lokesh Kumar, Principal Secretary to Revenue & CCLA, and Rajiv Gandhi Hanmanthu, Commissioner, Survey & Settlements, regarding the implementation of these decisions.

According to the TGOA, the Revenue Minister has assured that the re-organisation and promotion files will be placed before the Cabinet for final approval.

The association also raised issues related to employee health cards, formation of Joint Staff Council, general transfers, and other service matters. Sheshadri, Principal Secretary to CM, responded positively and stated that a decision will be taken after consultation with the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

The TGOA delegation conveyed greetings to the Minister and expressed confidence in the government’s commitment to address staff concerns.

The delegation included B. Shyam, State Associate President, Narahari Rao, Vice President, A. Kishan, President, Nizamabad District, Dr. Rama Rao, President, Ranga Reddy District, Dr. Sriram Reddy, and others.
