Hajj Committee Chairman Calls on CM Revanth Reddy, Seeks Focus on Minority Welfare and Hajj issues

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha called on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence on Wednesday to discuss various issues concerning the welfare of Muslim minorities in the State and upcoming Hajj 2026.

During the meeting, Mr. Biyabani brought to the Chief Minister’s attention matters related to the development of dargahs and other religious sites, as well as initiatives to preserve the Sufi tradition in Telangana. He urged the Congress-led State government to take special measures to safeguard Sufi heritage and promote communal harmony.

In response, Mr. Revanth Reddy reiterated the government’s commitment to the upliftment of minority communities and assured full support for initiatives aimed at their development.

Accompanying Mr. Biyabani were TPCC State President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLA Sripriya, former Minister R. Prakash Reddy, and other Congress leaders.

Later, Mr. Biyabani also met Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and held discussions on issues related to the Hajj Committee and the broader concerns of the Muslim minority population.
