Guest Faculty Recruitment at Chanchalguda Government Degree College

Hyderabad (Same Day): In accordance with state government guidelines, Chanchalguda Government Degree College in Hyderabad has issued a notification inviting applications for the appointment of guest faculty across various departments.

According to Dr. K. Praveen Kumar, Principal of the college, there are vacancies for guest lecturers in the following departments: English (1), Arabic (2), Commerce (2), Computer Science/Applications (4), Economics – Urdu medium (1), Political Science – Urdu medium (1), and History – Urdu medium (1).

Eligibility criteria stipulate a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant postgraduate course (50% for SC/ST candidates). Priority will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. qualification, followed by those who have cleared UGC-NET or SLET examinations. Postgraduates without these additional qualifications may also be considered, subject to merit. Candidates with prior teaching experience will be awarded additional weightage during the selection process.

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications along with relevant documents at the college office no later than 5 PM on July 23, 2025.

Adding to the woes, patients are also being asked to bring their own empty bottles to collect traditional halwa-based medicines—a practice described as both inconvenient and degrading by social activists and patient families.
