Congress launches 'Janahita Padayatra' in Pargi constituency
Pargi, Vikarabad (Same Day): As part of the ongoing Janahita Padayatra spearheaded by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, senior party leaders participated in a large-scale public outreach in the Pargi constituency of Vikarabad district on Thursday.
The padayatra was formally launched by Telangana Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. The initiative aims to directly engage with citizens, understand their grievances, and highlight the Congress party's vision for the state.
Among those who took part in the march were former Chevella MP Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, former MLA Kichannagari Lakshma Reddy, and former Chairman of the Ranga Reddy District Library Corporation Kappati Panduranga Reddy. Senior leaders Andugula Satyanarayana, Sabhavath Ganesh Naik, Kambalapally Madan Paul Reddy, Vundala Baburao, and Eggidi Krishna Mahender also joined the yatra.
Addressing the gathering, the leaders criticised the previous KCR government for its "anti-people policies" and asserted that the Congress is committed to restoring transparency, welfare, and development in Telangana. They added that such padayatras are crucial for reconnecting with the grassroots and rebuilding public trust.
The Yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, party workers, and supporters, reflecting growing interest in Congress activities ahead of the upcoming elections.
