Bandaru Dattatreya Condoles the Demise of Former OU Professor


Hyderabad (Same Day): Former Governor of Haryana and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya on Thursday visited the residence of late Prof. Kambham Madhusudhan Reddy, former Principal of the Arts College at Osmania University, to offer his condolences to the bereaved family.

Speaking to the family members, Mr. Dattatreya recalled the distinguished services rendered by Prof. Madhusudhan Reddy in the field of higher education.

“He was a dedicated academician who inspired generations of students. His contributions to Osmania University and the academic community will be remembered with deep respect,” he said.

Mr. Dattatreya offered prayers for the departed soul and expressed his hope that the family finds strength and courage during this difficult time.

Senior BJP leaders and close associates of Prof. Reddy were also present during the visit.

Adding to the woes, patients are also being asked to bring their own empty bottles to collect traditional halwa-based medicines—a practice described as both inconvenient and degrading by social activists and patient families. Hyderabad (Same Day): Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), has invited online applications for admission to its array of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes for the academic year 2025–2026. The academic session is scheduled to commence from July–August 2025.
