ACB Urges Citizens to Report Bribery, Assures Confidentiality
Hyderabad (Same Day): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana, has urged the public to proactively report instances of bribery or corrupt practices involving government officials. The agency has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of complainants and ensuring swift action on verified complaints.
In a public advisory issued on Twitter X, the ACB appealed to citizens to lodge complaints through its toll-free number 1064 or via WhatsApp at 9440446106. In addition, grievances can be submitted through the bureau’s official social media handles.
Officials stated that complaints received through these channels would be treated with the utmost discretion, and the identity of the whistleblower would be strictly protected.
“The public plays a crucial role in curbing corruption. We encourage citizens not to hesitate in bringing such matters to our attention,” an ACB spokesperson said.
The bureau continues to intensify its efforts to crack down on graft across departments, and the latest appeal is part of its broader campaign to promote transparency and accountability in public service.
