Vinod Kumar Goud Meets Newly Appointed Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari


Hyderabad, June 16 (Same Day): Telangana's newly appointed Minister for Sports and Animal Husbandry, Vakiti Srihari, assumed charge at the Secretariat on Monday. On the occasion, Donthi Vinod Kumar Goud, President of the Telangana Sports Federation and the Sports Authority of Telangana Coaches Association, paid a courtesy visit to the minister.

Vinod Kumar Goud, who is also a senior Congress leader, extended his warm greetings to Srihari by presenting him with a bouquet. The two held a brief discussion on the development of sports across the state, with an emphasis on strengthening infrastructure and support systems for athletes and coaches.

Speaking after the meeting, Goud expressed optimism about the future of sports under Srihari’s leadership. “We look forward to a renewed focus on grassroots talent and better facilities for our sportspersons,” he said.

Srihari, who brings with him decades of administrative experience, is expected to unveil a comprehensive plan for state-level sports promotion in the coming weeks.
