TGO urges the government to resolve pending employee issues

Hyderabad (Same Day): The Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association (TGO) has urged the State government to take proactive steps in resolving long-pending issues faced by government employees. A delegation led by TGO State President Eluri Srinivasa Rao met with Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, IAS, on Thursday and submitted a representation outlining several key demands.

Speaking after the meeting, Srinivasa Rao said the association had sought the immediate initiation of general transfers for employees, the reinstatement of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS), and the regularisation and release of salary bills currently pending as supplementary bills. The association also requested that employees who were transferred during election duties be reposted to their original positions.

The Chief Secretary responded positively to the delegation's concerns and assured that the government would take the necessary steps to address the issues raised, the association said in a statement.

TGO General Secretary A. Satyanarayana, Associate President B. Shyam, and executive members Paramesh Reddy, Lakshman, Ramarao, Sriram Reddy, Satyanarayana Reddy, and Padmavati were part of the delegation.
