EIU Kyrgyzstan Offers MBBS Scholarships to Indian Students


Hyderabad (Same Day): In a significant initiative to promote international education, Eurasian International University (EIU), Kyrgyzstan, has announced MBBS scholarships for Indian students. A delegation from EIU, led by its Rector Mr. Ulanbek Totuqueyev, visited Hyderabad to raise awareness about medical education opportunities in Kyrgyzstan. The university has partnered with Gyan Deep Foundation to facilitate admissions and scholarship support for deserving students. The scholarships, ranging from 25% to 80%, will be awarded based on an online entrance examination.

During their visit, the EIU team held detailed discussions with senior journalist, medical counselor Dr. Syed Ikramullah Hussaini and aspiring students. The focus was on ensuring that Indian students receive quality medical education abroad at an affordable cost.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Totuqueyev revealed that more than 30,000 Indian students are currently pursuing MBBS degrees in Eurasian International University, Kyrgyzstan. He highlighted EIU’s growing reputation as one of the country’s leading medical institutions. “We are committed to raising the academic bar and improving facilities for international students,” he said.

Mrs. Aman Ahlawat, Director of Gyan Deep Foundation, said the scholarship programme is supported by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in New Delhi. “This is a step towards making global medical education more accessible for students from across India,” she added. The session saw wide participation from students, parents, and academic mentors including Dr. Riyaz, who shared insights on the admission process and career prospects. Many attendees expressed interest in applying for the upcoming academic year. This initiative is expected to pave the way for deeper educational cooperation between India and Kyrgyzstan, while offering Indian students a viable pathway to pursue their medical ambitions abroad.
