Book Chronicles Unsung Heroes Behind Alluri Sitarama Raju’s Armed Struggle released soon


Guntur (Same Day): A new book shedding light on two unsung heroes who played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle alongside revolutionary leader Alluri Sitarama Raju is set to be released soon say's the author Syed Naseer Ahmed.

The book offers rare insights into the lives of Fazlullah Khan, a Deputy Collector during the British era, and Shaik Madina, a retired police constable, both of whom lent vital support to Alluri's fight against colonial rule in Andhra Pradesh.

While Fazlullah Khan is noted for using his official position to support the revolutionary cause, Shaik Madina's contribution stands out for its hands-on impact—he is credited with training Alluri in rifle shooting, a skill that proved instrumental in his guerrilla warfare against the British.

Historians and readers alike are calling the book a timely reminder of the lesser-known yet influential figures of India’s independence movement. It seeks to bring to the forefront the collaborative efforts and diverse support that fueled one of the most fearless chapters in the freedom struggle.
